Abtec Azospirillum is a biofertilizer based on the selective strains of nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azospirillum sp. This is available in liquid and wettable powder formulation. Suitable for all crops - cereals, vegetables, plantation crops, ornamental plants and even legumes.
Dosage and method of application.
Abtec Azospirillum is mainly used for direct soil application. It can be used for seed treatment and foliar spray also. Apply in wet soil as basal dose along with organic manure and refresh it periodically along with organic manure. The normal dosage is 10ml/litre per plant.
Seed Treatment: For seeds mix 10 ml Azospirillum / kg of seeds. Seedlings or planting setts can be dipped for 30 min @ 250 - 500 ml per 50 to 60-litre water before planting. After each treatment allows the seed/seedling/sett to dry in shade for 30 minutes before planting.
Broadcasting / Soil Application: Soil application @ 3 litres/ Ha after mixing with 250 to 375 kg of Abtec Organic Manure or Farm Yard Manure (FYM). For trees directly apply at root zone early in season 5 Kg/ha. For vines @ 10 to 20 ml/ litre of water.
Foliar Spray: Abtec Azospirillum can be used for foliar spray @ 10ml /1 litre of water. For a nursery, the application applies @ 500 ml/ 50 litres of water.
Drip Irrigation: In places where the drip irrigation system is in practice the liquid formulation of Abtec Azospirillum can be used
@ 3L / ha in 500 litres of water.
